Perform site investigations and select subsystem components. Create design specifications and purchase specifications, electrical schematics, bills of material and panel layouts. Proficiency or aptitude in computer applications (MS Office, AutoCAD, etc.) is required. Education: BSEE/BSEET. Experience: 3-10 years in industrial power system design, and/or industrial electrical automation and control system design. Must be self-directed, conscientious, responsible, quality-driven, team player.

CCSI – Design Engineer

Experience in Low Voltage, Switchboard and Switchgear Application Engineering is strongly preferred. Extensive knowledge and hands on experience in developing complex electrical schematics is required. Experience in PLC programming preferred. Knowledge and use of AutoCAD/Promise is essential. Participates in the preparation of semi-complex sketches, design layouts, and other specifications. Provides support in semi-complex review of results to determine that products perform in the intended manner. Participates in preparing semi-complex prototypes for testing and provides technical assistance on design feasibility. Assists in standardizing semi-complex materials, components and assemblies. Participates in maintaining detailed and comprehensive records of all inventive ideas, designs, and basic improvements. Provides support in documenting product issues for future reference and problem resolution.
