Arnold-Hanafin Corporation – Engineer – Transmission Lines/Civil Engineering

- In depth working knowledge of AISC, ACI-318 design codes and Connecticut
State Building Code.
- Familiarity with ASCE-7 and NESC and their
application.
- The ability to be self sufficient in the analysis and design of concrete
foundations and steel frame structures.
- Proficient computer skills in the use of various programs such as RISA 3D,
PLS CADD / POLE, Microsoft Word, Excel, Lotus Notes etc.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Capable of interfacing with
engineering, design, and field construction disciplines.
- Ability to work both in the office and at various client field sites in
support of civil transmission line and substation projects.
- Experience in the design of transmission line and or substation structure
foundations is desirable.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with 5 to 7 years of engineering
experience.
- PE registration in the state of Connecticut is preferred.
- Must hold a valid motor vehicle license
- Drug Test and Background Check
