Engineering Specialist – Marathon Oil Company – Houston

This position is within the Drilling and Completions organization. The successful candidate will provide technical and operational support for drilling, completion, and well service projects. The focus of the group includes the use and support of WellView 9 and other database tools, and on collection, analysis, and presentation of engineering and operational data from a variety of other sources. It may occasionally be necessary to travel to rig site locations for short periods of time to provide WellView support and training, or to collect data and to provide operational supervision and support.

Baker Hughes Reservoir Development Services (RDS) has an immediate opening for a Reservoir Advisor position in Canada.

RDS serves the oil & gas industry in developing reservoir-driven solutions covering the full asset life cycle, from the earliest phases of project development through abandonment.

The Principal Advisor will have the following key priorities:

Acts as consulting expert for geomarket providing advice focused on the life cycle of the reservoir and value chain.

Partners with geomarket sales staff to ensure that the customer’s technical needs are clearly understood and defined in order to prepare an effective outline/tender, solution, and forecasted needs.

Collaborate with each of the product lines to define a cohesive product and service offering for the customer by analyzing the customer’s needs, reservoir, and production outlook.
