CCSI – Structural Engineer
117187- Working knowledge of design codes such as BOCA, AISC, ASCE-7, ACI-318, ACI 530, AASHTO, & NESC. Experience in concrete and structural steel design is necessary. Good computer skills in the use of various office programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and structural programs such as RISA. Flexibility to work in the office and travel to field locations in support of electrical distribution projects. Ability to work in a schedule driven environment with shifting priorities. At times confined space entries will be required. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to interface with other engineering / design disciplines, regulatory agencies, and contractors is required for the satisfactory performance of this position. Experience in the design of substation structures, foundations and conduit layout is a plus.
