Cooper Tire is seeking a full time computer aided engineering development engineer to assist its further expansion into the use of advanced FEA simulations at the R&D headquarters in Findlay, Ohio. The position involves working with a team to develop proprietary tools that support and drive virtual tire analysis within Cooper, integrating closely with commercial FEA and CAD packages. The developed tools will form an integral component in the product design cycle and require collaborating on tool architecture and interface decisions, engineering validation and verification of the tools, field testing of systems and system support and maintenance.
