Roles and Responsibilities
• Manages the assessment and technical understanding of a customer’s system requirements, and converts these requirements into an integrated system design and cost estimate in accordance with the project plan.
• Oversees the engineering resources charged with the design and implementation of complex application and electronic systems, data networks and communications interfaces
• Oversees the preparation and quality of technical assessment and needs-analysis reports, construction drawings, specifications, test and commissioning plans, and training materials
• Works with the project manager to document and manage production and construction schedules and progress
• Able to develop and justify accurate labor and material cost estimates from client specifications, drawings and work statements
