A British engineering firm is to double in size after unveiling a deal to buy an American firm whose customers include Pratt & Whitney and Rolls-Royce. MB Aerospace (MBAe), which has operations in Motherwell, Derby and Burnley, said its multi-million-pound acquisition of Detroit-based Gentz Industries will create an international brand with annual revenues in excess of 80 million US dollars (£51 million).
