Fayette Engineering Prof Encourages Females to Enter the Fray

David Meredith, professor of engineering at Penn State Fayette, the Eberly Campus, remembers the day that he walked in to his freshman orientation at Ohio State University.

Out of nearly 300 hundred engineering majors, only 12 of the students at the orientation were female. The experience sparked Meredith’s mission to encourage women to enter non-traditional professions.
