Operate as a member of a team of highly trained experts deployed from the Springfield Research Facility (SRF) by the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) to conduct Balanced Survivability Assessments (BSAs) of the mission vulnerabilities of facilities to a broad threat spectrum. The Utility Specialist is responsible for assessing every mission-critical utility support system, identifying vulnerabilities in those systems and summarizing those findings in an outbrief and follow-up written report.
