Essential Job Duties: Responsibilities include: to research and evaluate various polymer materials exhibiting selectivity toward explosives threat substances as sanctioned by the department of homeland security. The chemist will more specifically work with both conductive polymers as well as non-conductive polymers including the aggregation of these compounds. The chemist will be supported by outside laboratories with expertise in both of these areas of chemistry.
