The Engineering Connection – Optical (Waveguide) Test and Design Engineer

We are looking for an Optical Test and Design Engineer (ideally with waveguide or planar photonics experience) for our dynamic pre-IPO retained client in the Bay area. This company is in startup mode ~ however I worked with the Founder and staffed his entire previous venture from scratch. This Scientist pioneered a novel optical component technology, called a PLZT waveguide, based on 18 years of R&D at MIT and Fuji Xerox and 60 patents.
