William H. Nicholson Associates, P.A. – Civil Engineer/Engineer Technician

Suburban NJ civil engineering firm is looking for a Civil Engineer, preferably an E.I.T. or on a track to E.I.T./P.E., with one to three years experience.  In addition to being proficient in the use of AutoCAD, you must have a general working familiarity with computers (file management, browsing, etc.  Additional desirable computer skills (in order of decreasing importance) include: MSExcel, word-processing, and HydroCAD.  We would consider a recent graduate with the right skills.  Familiarity with subdivision and site plan design, municipal ordinances, property and topographic survey plans, soils and their general physical and geotechnical properties relating to rainfall, storm water drainage, and construction; and environmental regulations pertaining to wetlands, storm water management, and sanitary sewerage would be a plus.  Also, a working knowledge of civil engineering details would be a plus.  We offer pleasant working conditions in a smaller office setting, working closely with experienced professional engineers, designers, and drafters on a variety of projects, with plenty of room for you to grow.  Email resume to swilliams@whnapa.com.
